We manage our forest through selective harvesting - supporting a diverse, mixed forest, which provides a healthy habitat for wildlife.
From time to time, loggers harvest carefully selected trees that are reaching maturity or are obscuring other trees.
Storm damage is a regular occurrence, and we pull the downed trees to our farm. These, together with the logs that are not saw mill quality are used to make firewood.
We sell the firewood per cord (loose thrown), in various lengths, dry or green, and deliver up to 30 miles from our farm. Delivery within 5 miles from our farm is free of charge. Special services (such as stacking, carrying after unloading, etcetera) are charged by the hour.
